Czech singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Honza Křížek releases his second solo album REVOLUTION. Eleven songs were written, recorded and produced within a couple of days in Krizek’s studio during the strict lockdown in the Czech Republic. Its first single REVOLUTION released on September 3, 2021 is accompanied by a video directed by Michal Jiráň. Album went on sale on Friday, September 17, 2021 and can be downloaded/streamed here.
After the genre varied Krizek’s debut album from 2017, he returns with REVOLUTION to his musical roots strongly influenced by music of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Beastie Boys and Rage Against The Machine. The new tracks are dominated by force, significant guitar riffs in the foreground together with Krizek’s characteristic diction, which was typical for him during active period of cult Czech crossover band Walk Choc Ice from the 90s of which he was a frontman. In 1994 Walk Choc Ice supported Prague concert of Rage Against The Machine.
